Training Fees: $1500
(includes coaching, equipment, facility, and development support)

Athletes will be able to leave St. Catherine’s with their families/on their own, or return to Seattle with the coaches for an additional cost.
HEALTH AND INSURANCE:
Cost for all treatment of injuries and hospitalization for illnesses or injuries during the camp will be the responsibility of the parent(s) or guardian of participant.
ABOUT OUR COACHES:
Conal Groom: As an Olympian and nine-time U.S. National Team member Conal brings a wealth of first hand experience and knowledge to every athlete who chooses to train with him. His genuine passion for the development process; technical, physiological and mental, motivates his athletes to test their limits in practice and on the racecourse. Conal’s approach is a mix of time tested Eastern European techniques on and off the water coupled with an increasing array of high tech assessment tools and the knowledge they provide. In eight years Conal has gathered an impressive resume of coaching successes: Jr. Worlds W1x Bronze 2006, Silver 2008, U-23 W1X Bronze 2010, coached a wide range of athletes to spots on Jr, U-23, Senior and Olympic Teams, 16 Youth Nationals Titles (2006-2017), Gold in Men’s Youth 2x at HOCR, multiple Senior and Elite titles at USRowing Nationals, 5 SDCC titles, coach for Senior Worlds WL4X 2006, W1X 2010, Jr Worlds M4X 2012, Jr Worlds M1x, 2x and 4X 2013 & 2014, MLt2- 2017.
Carol Nagy has been active in the Seattle rowing community for more than 30 years, coaching Juniors for the last eleven. As the parent of an International rower, competitor herself, USRA Referee, Coach, School Activist, and Small Business owner, Carol brings her full range of passions and knowledge to building a solid foundation and future at SRC and its vision to develop athletes successfully on the International stage. Of the many hats Carol wears, her favorite is introducing eager, young athletes to the sport of rowing. Each day, holding them to the highest standards of good technique in small boats, respect for developing physiology, mental tenacity and flexibility… and then watching the joy they find in being successful on the race course and in life.
